Day 1:
We have finally got the car fixed up and we left just as the sun was rising. Our first stop in Pennsylvania was a small settlement, or Belafonte- or "Beautiful Fountain" in Italian. A couple hours later we finally hit the state of Ohio. We found it to be quite flat, for us mountain folk, just kidding. As we neared Michigan, our first stop, we encountered a critical lightning storm, which soon turned into a tornado storm. We finally made it into Ann Arbor, where we met up with one of the closest friends we know, practically family. We spent the rest of the night in his company and can't wait until tomorrow. Much for a first day of traveling, isn't it?

Hello from Larchmont. Hope you're having a great adventure, and the weather settles down. We are having wild weather back east. Tomorrow will reach a LOW of 100. Tonight we await a possible tornado.
